When Converse and Warner Bros teamed up to create a series of co branded collections around some of the most iconic cartoon properties, Converse challenged our team with developing animated shorts to bring the character graphics to life on the blank canvas of a Chuck Taylor All-Star. As a platform for self expression, the ubiquitous Chuck Taylors would be the hero as we looked to expand on the graphics by treating each pair in the collection as a still, or moment, within a larger story.

We developed scripts that captured the nostalgic and playful tropes of each character set in ways that both built on the foundational product graphics as well as leveraged the narrative philosophies and viewer expectations for each property, in addition to the exacting standards of the Warner Bros teams.

With hand drawn animation and brand-right initiative graphics, the ecosystem of digital, social and online marketing assets could be generated to position Converse as the platform for self expression with a unified initiative that elevated both brands.
